I've got 2.53, and I am not good at all in armor, so I would say you are not whoring them. We had one here bragging about his ratio of 10 or so.
Mine is 6.8 but nowhere near the top guys. Some have as high as 24:1 so I wouldn't worry about being called a tank whore.
I'm around 3. Don't worry about being a "tank whore" because many other people have WAY higher K ratios.
alright, thanx. im not good with tanks either. i love the apc though. i cant seem to turn the turret fast enough. i move my mouse around then it goes off the mousepad, so i bring it back and turn it around again, and by the time i turn the turret around, im dead lol.

I wouldn't consider myself a tank whore at all. I'm at 3.4 but don't really go out of my way to use tanks or APCs. If you're having trouble bringing the turret around you may want to increase your mouse sensitivity for land vehicles (it is separate from normal infantry mouse settings so don't worry about that). I had the same problem until I put mine on 3.00 and now its much easier.
oh right i forgot about sensitivyt, i lowered my aim sensitivity for my guns, cuz i keep missing, it seems to help, but i should increase it for the tanks and other vehicles. thanx!
Small arms kills are way more satisfying then tank kills. It does require skills though, tanks are moving armoured coffins. I'm at 2.something/1.

I'm at about 2.4 ish. There's no way your ratio makes you a tank whore. Frankly, if someone has dozens of hours in a tank and their Kill/Death ration is BELOW 2, then that makes them a tank whore, because it means they suck and yet they're preventing people who CAN shoot straight from using the tank.
And is it good? Not really, to be honest. If we're driving around in something that can't be harmed by MOST of the weapons in the game, both you and I should probably be doing better than 2 point something. Oh well.
That being said, while I'm not averse to driving around in the tank looking for prey, on maps with planes, it's always balanced by the numerous times I've been pinged by skilled pilots before I can even get to the meatbags I so yearn to spread thin with my tank treads.

I know one guy who is SO good in a tank, it's unbelievable. But I don't use the tank very much.

I got like 6 but i don't whore in tanks...i have 10 hours out of like 75 in armor
