BF2S Forums Should Dice include new EU content in an upcoming patch?

U know ppl payed for that so it would be unfair to them

I am sick and tired of people bitching about the boosters costing ten dollars. That's half the price of a cd you buy at the mall, and the same price as a movie and popcorn that will only entertain you for 2 hours.

...did you not read what I said? I have the booster already, both of them, plus the expansion. EA has 120 bucks of my money, am I bitching? No it's great stuff, and maybe EA may make some money out of this. This was just a thought so the rest of the BF2 community could give the EU a try, since there is little fanbase. Chill, honestly.

You can't lose any money if no one is buying your product anymore. You can't gain any either, but you can lose fanbase, which is money.

Coke, the content is not booster pack content. You will also be getting new content, for free. Others who don't won't have the content in Euro Forces. Then again, can you find many servers playing the EF booster 24/7? Probably in the UK, but I get terrible ping since I'm in the US.

I get the assumption (from everyone else thinking DICE is losing thousands) that when people ask for free content, it means them giving them 10 or 20 bucks worth of stuff or something. I don't think a few measly maps can cost them much, it's just Dice seems to take forever making them thus they think it's a job and requires more money from us to have it. How many maps has infinityward made for free and not charged a dime for it? Blizzard made tons of free maps and stuff in SC and WC. This was before WOW, where they didn't charge anybody a time to play on Battle.net, which costs quite a bit to maintain. Sure, I'll pay for new vehicles and a new faction because that takes a lot of hard work, but maps can be made by any modder easily.

And it's not like they are making the EU again if they released a new free map for people to play. That work has been done, and if they are not reaping any more (or very little) profit from EF, why not? Those who don't care about EF, can't buy it, or just don't think it's worth it can wonder why some folks hate EF and why some love it. One map for MEC, one for PLA, now how about one for EU?
