is lamer a bad word? because in the last 2 days i was once kicked and once warned for typing this

Well...It IS a bad word, meaning that someone acts lame, idiotic and weak-brained.
BUT the kick is wrong in my opinion because it isn't as offensive as if you call someone a motherf***er or an a-hole...

To cut it short, lamer as an insult means that you accuse someone of lacking maturity and intelligence which should be what you meant when you said it to the other guy...

In the UK the word "lamer" is a "bad word", but only a mild one.

I dont know if you countries have a different meaning, or find it more offensive
