alright guys,

first up, just had a wicked nite of gaming for the first time in a month a hole nite with out a 'connection problem' or loss of server. give or take a few wankers and teamkillers....i'm happy.

but heres my problem, for the most of the servers i go on, i loose the bass in the music and sfx

my sound settings are as they come in default and it used to be fine, but now, more often than not, when i click a server to join, the bass drops

i'm runnin a 5.1 system and sound card. any suggestions welcome

what does not having bass do?

This may sound weird but you may want to check to see if your mic is coming on all the time.  It may be cancelling out the low end for some reason.  Other than that... I have NO clue.  It shouldnt be dependant on the server as you say it is.

What soundcard are you using?
I might be able to give you some help if I knew what card you have.

cheers for the replys guys

to the guy with all the questions, kill the bass in ur game and see how feeble everything sounds. its ok, just not great

cowbell kevin- i think u may have a point, i will check out the mic settings and poke it for awhile, because when i join a squad i can oten hear the guys without me setting anything up

od-belt- sound card is a trust 5.1 sound pro, cheap i know, but i just wanted to free up sys resources
