Nice work Tank. your post made more sense than some Naturaly engish speaking people.
i do the same but it blows up on me lol
Drop it if you are being chased. Become the hunter.
Alpha as fuck.
Nyte makes a really good point...a lot of what i do as a sniper is just play cat and mouse...i dart out, make a lot of noise or jump up and down, then run back behind a wall and plant a claymore. When chooblet chases after me, BAM, right in the face.
You guys are not helping Maj.Do. In your case, Maj, there might be someone close by who triggers it and takes you with him/her to the dreaded 15 second respawn.
are u having trouble with how to place it, like in which direction? when u hold it, the front side of the claymore, the side u cant see, will face the enemy, so u can back away safely, now if u put it in front of where ur going and then walk around it, then you will die.
thetop of ladders is a bit of a bitch because it can be a bit tricky for team mates
oh i thought the side u c is the trigger sensitive part lol thx.ryan_14 wrote:

usually everytime I plan to get someone with a claymore, they walk in front of it and jump all around it, kill me, and it never goes off.
yes the opposite side was facing them.
yes the opposite side was facing them.
lol, that would be why they kill you. Yeah they face away from you to start when you toss them. Generally I don't use them unless I'm going to be sniping and I don't want to be distracted by worrying about knifers running up behind me.Maj.Do wrote:

But yes when you throw a Claymore, it is facing away from you, so you're safe if you just walk directly backwards and then avoid the area altogether.
The problem with mines, (AT and Claymore) is that your teammates WILL find a way to blow themselves up on them. That's the biggest reason not to use them. Lord knows how many of my TKs (most likely over half are from AT mines) are from blocking paths that I know the enemy is going to attack from, but my team just doesn't notice the red skull apparantly...
only if you don't stop to look...FourStars wrote:

I remember clearly when I planted a Claymore and instantly went around the front of it. I just completely forgot that it was a dangerous explosive.
By the way. If you are Sniper, and Iam engineer and you find a sweet spot on top of a building, I'll getcha. I always go up stairs slowly to see if there's an enemy claymore. If there is, I can manage to defuse it and kill the unsuspecting sniper.
Actually, I've only done this once, but it made me feel so smart!
Claymores are probably the most satisfying kills. They don't happen often, and when you plant them it's a sad fact that your own team WILL be the ones to set it off. Claymores are awesome though, as you can set them around corners. The enemy won't have any idea that they are there until it's too late.

Since when can the engineer defuse a claymore? Me and my clan have tried many times and nothing happens. Did they change this on the latest patch? cause we have not tried in a while since it didnt work from the beginning.Tyferra wrote:
