Here's my take on language filters.

Do we really want to encourage the next generation of gamers to start off using foul language?  I think not.  We should be setting good examples, not bad ones.  Can't we all just be civilized, it is afterall...a game.  If you get upset enough to swear at people, time to change hobbies.  As a soon to be father, I agree with the language filter whole-heartedly.  I don't swear and I'll do my best to keep it out of the ears of my children.  They (EA) are trying to keep it fun, fun doesn't equal foul language and I agree. 

Now quit complaining and get back to gaming!  Maybe a cowbell filter?
