"This server does not allow players with modified content please revert your game to the original BF2 settings" I get this message when joining some servers. Has anyone got any idea how to sort this problem i can play in most servers but not Wake island or any Spec forces servers. I have uninstalled / reinstalled fixed the problem for about 3 days then back again. EA told me to download some software from there site and completely remove all parts of the game from my PC. This being a long drawn out affair and insatlling all the p[atches again etc id rather not go through all that. Does anyone have an easier way of fixing this problem it really is driving me mad i have no idea where these mods game from that i supposedly have.

I did have the same problem but when I reinstalled it worked perfectly.
Do not use the registry eraser tool.
Did you down load the patch from the Es downloader?
Do not use that pile of poo to patch your game!
Get them direct from where ever.
I down loaded the !.3 from there and had the same trouble as you.
Just get the full install 1.3 from some where and patch, this should fix every thing

sometimes updating punkbuster will help with that issue.

other than that go to community and make sure you have no old mods installed or just do what they said above if the other stuff does nothing.
