Anyone ever have their tank shells just randomly deflect off the air and hit nothing? They almost went straight down. It happened to me about thre times last night on Kubra. I know it wasn't just on my end because my gunner saw it, too. They definitely didn't hit anything on the way, I had clean shots. So strange.
Lag

On the kubra dam bridge the tank shells can bounce, but hitting air?
It wasn't lag, I had no lag issues all night. I wasn't on the bridge, I was around the MEC base aiming towards the lower dam flag.
there are few places you can bouce them off the air.
If you drive your tank half way up a steep slope, point your turret up so its poiting directly upwards and shoot, does the tank shell eventually fall back down on you?
yes.. there was a possum in your barrel when you shot.. it wasn't a 120mm round at all..
wind pushed against the possum (which was still on fire from being shot out of a T90/M1A2 turret) creating resistance... and ultimately.. the possums dropping (haha dropping)

I have something similar on wake sometimes in the J-10, i can drop a bomb and all of a sudden it will just fuck up, it doesnt hit anything just decides to spin around and bounce.
Try firing garden gnomes, they don't bounce.... I know!
how did you get the latest patch already?rustynutz wrote:

the one where they LITERALLY nerfed the J-10
Anyone get the Tv missle bug were it makes the firing noise but doesn't fire?
I hate it i have to wait for it to reload again and usually an enemy chopper kills us by then.

I would imagine so.BUDFORCE wrote:

Artillery shells are actual pieces that fly up high and come down (waste of code in my opinion) so I'd think the tank shell would eventually fall down.
Fucking possums. I thought the shell looked funny.
Its really cool when you are flying that high though. I love seeing the artillery go up and come back down.Coolbeano wrote:
