Yeah, I used to watch it back in '84-86. It was the ony thing on before school, besides Mr. Gadget. It got lame after the minibots where the main robots head and the guns turned into robots, so you had 3 robots in one... I think G.I. Joe was popular back then as was Voltron. Im glad they are making a ..er.. futuristic.. transformers, but I think they will ruin a good thing by showing 2 cars for 4 minutes transforming twice. Then rest of the movie will be humans trying to figure out how to make a flushess toilet.
The original movie was great back in '84. Those of us who grew up watching that along with G.I. Joe, Voltron, and Mask, will be interested to see if they make this new movie interesting or not.
Im gonna be an extra in that flick! The filmed at Nellis AFB, and I was on leave in Vegas! I dunno where I will be but ill be lookin.
Yea I saw this and a few secretly released renderings of this movie on the internet. The concept I hope stays true to the cartoon at least a bit. I know they are changing some fundamental truths though. Like some of the autobots aren't actually cars or vehicles. And that some don't transform at all. That megatron apparently is not a gun but is a jet. These are all rumors mind you so I don't know what it will be until more trailers come out. However the concept of a Live Action Transformers movie is pretty kick ass. We finally have the technology to be able to do this with CGI in a believeable way. I for one am looking forward to it just for the special effects.
