Funny story = no more BF2

Well ok so my dad got are house wired and we have a big screen tv so we brought my comp in the basement and hooked it up to the TV. So i opened Bf2 up and decided to change the resolution. so one of the settingts was like 1244 by 1024 or sumthin with like 300 hertz lmao. So being me always wanting better shit clicked it to have awsome shit and I applyed and the all of a sudden I get the black screen. So now Im fucked and I cnt change it back and now I realize that if i cnt play it on the big screen I cnt play it on my monitor ffs. So we hook my monitor up and same think it doesnt fuckin work.

And now for the best part of the story.

So my genious friend saysd to uninstall hoping that would fix the problem, so we uninstall and i have to run to get the other cds in my room and I open the box and guess wat no manual with the cd key lmfao ffs.

So either someone gives me a cd key or I buy it again

I didnt fuk my resolution up but i DID lose my special forces manual so i had to purchase it again...EXCEPT...dont tell EBgames, but if you buy their little "game guarantee" you can return the game if it "doesnt work" or "the cd is scratched" (now how many games do you actually think get shipped all scratched up? ) So i bought it brought it home wrote down the new cd key, put a little catnip on the bottom of the cd, let the cat have it for 30min or so and brought it back 1hour after buying it. They wouldnt return my money but instead i pre-ordered 2142 with the extra funds......ooooooooooooooooooooo maybe you could do the same

Lol! Don't you just hate computers? . My friend told me a similar story where he tried turning all the display setting to high to see what would happen. After playing like that for five minutes or so, his comp froze and crashed. For some reason he wasnt able to lower the settings again and ended up having to reinstal lol.

I've had this problem before...it's because you changed the resolution to the highest hertz level to fix it find the Battlefield 2 file in your "My Documents" folder and delete it. This will delete your profile and settings on the computer, but it will also cause the resolution to go back to it's default. This should fix your problem.

ya me 2! im saving up to upgrade my CPU. all i need is round 500-600 bone, but my $$ seems to disapeer and change into a kind of grass.... wierd.

If you registerred your BF2 copy with EA, you can find your CD key on your EA online registration page.

I had the same problems! LOL!

I tried all but it nothing worked... then I placed the PC of my roomie next to mine and installed BF there. After that I took both mouses and affected them synchron ... there we are!

video cards cant handle 300 hurts... max for 1280X1024 for vid cards to be safe is 150 hertz

he said he hooked it up to the big TV... the TV supports 300hertz, but videocards can only do a max of 240 hertz, 150 hertz would be safe
