i hope the topic name didnt make anyone mad but it was needed...

i was just sitting in my bed today half asleep until i started to hear a little roar.. sounded like a car or somthing little until is started to get bigger so i thought it was just a little plane until it became a sound that blocked out everything and had a kind of high pitched squil to it the house starts to rumble and then the creshendo (spelling?) it was just amazing 4 f-18 flew directly over my house.... my heart is still pounding

oh and for people who have this happen often this has never happened to me so this is pretty special

yeah it is impressive when a group of fighter fly over your house. the "patrouille suisse" (the swiss military stunt pilots) likes to show off in summer very close to our house. breathtaking

lmao yes it is heart thumping. About ** yrs ago I moved into a place between two airforce bases and one morning the sky opened up and God has come-a-callin' or so I thought. I looked out the front door and DAMN!!! an SR71 orbiting right over my house so close I could count the rivets, loud SOB too. By far the best for me was on a Live Fire Ex at Fort Carson when an A7 flew so close, so quick over our position the Battalion Commander banged his head on the hood of the jeep where we where checking the map. There is Nuthin like a gattling gun openning up 200' above your head.
