I Searched for this and did not find it, but apologies if it's out there.

How about this for a badge? You get so many teamkills, you get basic/veteran/expert TeamKiller. So many teamkills in a round, you get a ribbon.

Each of these is not truly a merit badge, but a mark of shame. Sort of like the Purple Heart, but rather than documenting ineptitude, it documents shameful fratricide for all to see.

Then it gets better - if you get any of these awards, you lose 1 level in rank, including whichever unlocks you got.

And make it easy to do - like 5 Tks in 1 round is the ribbon. We all TK accidentally once or twice, but to do it FIVE times is either intentional or a mark of great carelessness...

Thoughts?

I was once taking of in a jet and a Z-8 FULLY LOADED crashed into me. The Z-8 pilot didn't want me to have the plane. Guess who got the teamkills.

That's a stupid idea.

that would be SOOO stupid

what about when your commander? you can get 5 TK's pretty easily as Commander, especially on Karkand

If you take a full loaded blackhawk and ram it into a friendly boat, the driver of the boat get all the tk`s as long as you cut the throttle right before the impact, i would be handing out those ribbons like a madman

I think a better option would be for those who dont punish for accidental team kills get a badge.. problem is no way to determin which are those that are accidental and which are people jumping in front of jet!

Yes, we coud need to have some "Idiot- mark" next to the names of those players who are idiots.

Hey hey hey! Just a rough idea to try to make this part of the game even less palatable than it is now.

I think we have all been on servers where there is kick vote after kick vote trying to get rid of a TKer, and yet it always comes up short.

I think we have all been intentionally Tk'd for some piece of equipment or unintentionnally TK'd by some ridiculous action like a grenade being chucked at a flag we're capping. The -4 just doesn't seem to cut it as a deterrent.

And thanks to the guy who -1 karma'd me for this idea - at least he ID's himself....

That same thing happened to me in Oman before. I took a tank, and a guy didn't want me to have it. He shot me twice with his Eryx and then jumped in the chopper. I saw him flying over and all of a sudden, BOOM!

Crashed into me and I got the teamkill. An admin came in and I eventually got him banned because he kept team attacking.

So in other words, you're saying "Let's reward a person for tking"! That's awful. There's enough tkers out there already, this badge would make the game un-playable. Most servers would kick someone trying to earn the badge. And losing a rank with all the guns you earn is pathetic creativity! (Yes, I finally am one level ahead of Blazin.uk! I'm going to be the best player ever! *accidently tks 5 people, loses rank*! NO! NO! I hate this game). And why make something just to give people dishonors. Do you mind if I direct you to a nice, Pokemon Forum where you can spend most of your time at and not at BF2s. Thank you.

Mmmmm, maybe reduce a fewquent tk's health for the whole round, or auto destroy his vehicle, but reduce rank? Naaaah, he may be a noob, but if he has the point's he should have his rank.
