I find the spec ops kit makes a good counter sniper kit, the g36 unlock & usualy any on the other default spec ops carbines (especialy the chinese one) are very accurate, but have the advantage of rapid fire for those close quarters battles. The only thing that lets the kit down in my opinion is that you recieve very few points for the destructuon of commander assetts (as opposed to the points to be made with kills) & that makes it fall short of being a 'team' kit in my opinion.

Well spec ops rifles have that insane laser pinpoint accuracy--- but kinda weak stopping power
Assault rifles have weak long range accuracy, but everyone will agree it has more stopping power..

I think you just need to be able to use Spec-Ops better. Their guns are one of the better ones in the game b/c of their accuracy.JaM3z wrote:

True if you have a good spec ops guys blowing up the other teams commander toys constantly it is a help, but as this game is all about stats (dont say it isnt because we all know it is) they dont get amny points for blowing the shit up.
The only good things i have come to rely on the spec ops class for is, jihad jeeps and taking out the bridge on karkand, that my friend is about it.
I actually just played with the spec-op kit and tbh i never relised how much the scar-l sucks my balls, come round a corner to any asshole with and other gun and your gna get shit on, it sucked so bad for the rest of the round i decided to use the pistol.
The G36 is to bad but even that sucks, but at least if you come round a corner with a guy waiting there for you and he is on 1 heath and no ammunition left then you have a fighting chance you can kill him.
I used to love this kit, you could C4 chuck and just own a whole entire team, you could even throw c4 over a fence to take out a tank, now you have to walk up behind it hope for the love of god it doesnt see you then. plant your C4 run away and hope you dont get shot in the back or by another guy.
They have no armour there guns suck, you dont userally get alot of points with it, and the only good thing there for is loading all your C4 onto the front of buggy and going all taliban style on tanks and shit.
And before i get moaned at for this game isnt about stats, well im sorry but 99.999999999% of you have you sig as your stats and ive seen 35478643545645 topics about yayz i got my promotion!!!!!!!111.
So in short, spec ops = only good for taking out armour with a fast moving car.
If you'd look at my stats, you'd see i have a 139 BR as US, i got that as JUST Spec-Ops with no vehicle whoring (that round accounts for about 1/3 of my total time as Spec-Ops... lol) You just have to know how to use the kit
Spec-Ops isn't for assaulting flags head-on against assault and support players. You need to be sneaky.
Assault rifles are just as good at long range - either using 3 burst or single shot. The L85 is amazingly accurate on single shot. Plus, you dont need 7 bullets to kill someone. Whats easier - 3/4 bullets on single shot or 8 on auto?specialistx2324 wrote:

Also, carbines tend to run out of ammo if you come up against a lot of enemies without being able to reload.
Finally, assault rifles have much better standing accuracy - you need to go prone to see the difference with a carbine.
Of course, the support class still owns both.
Spec ops FTW. its just if u know how to properly play the kit
