I am by no means a good pilot, but I find using keyboard only for helis seems to be easier than using my joystick because I tend to lose control easily. Perhaps it's more of a practice issue, but if I have to fly my squad around safely, keyboard seems to be the way to go for me.

you're right, flying a chopper with a joystick is much, much harder than with a keyboard and/or mouse. It took me about a week to fully adjust to a joystick (after 2 months of KB/M, mind you) Although if it means one less blackhawk in the sea, than keep on using the keyboardChibiAlpha wrote:

man i fly mouse/keyboard (no logitech crap, just normal Dell ones) and some clan mates who use joystick own me completely and the only way to dodge them in dogfights is flying really low. Spinning around is easy as my settings are at 10.0 for m/k and bombing and strafing on the ground is no problem
I fly helis and planes just using the keyboard. It is what i am used to after playing GTA: San Andreas!
I have flown with a keyboard since day 1. For me I can pull off bombing runs better. But dog fighting is a bit difficult.(RB)BuLLeT-X2 wrote:

Yes, I've never got the hang of using the mouse, but the keyboard is fine. If anyone can tell me how to use the mouse I'd learn, but till then I'm happy with using the keyboard to fly.
