OK, imagine this:
you're walking on a 3-4 meter high wall, in between two train tracks. Suddenly you notice that on one track there is a box with a litter of young kittens and their mother cat in it. On the other track is a box with your copy of BF2, and the Hard disk from EA's servers on which your stats are stored.
Suddenly you hear a noise. You look around and see that trains are coming on both of the tracks. You've got 30 seconds before they come and squash either of the boxes. You can jump off the wall and save one of them, but the wall is too high to climb over.
