Is there a way to know with what EA account is related your nickname? I cant remember my account number associated to my nickname. I know this is kinda lame, but I got confused coz I started playing with a different
nickname and then after a 3k score I started a new game with my current nickname (Trooper_Collider); so, when I purchased Armored Fury I realized that I had already forgotten the name of my account for Trooper_Collider; I actually can perfectly play AF, but I need to know the name of my account associated to my nickname, I dunno if you know what I mean.  I mean, I dont perfectly understand how does this whole EA accounts work. So:
I have two nicknames: one I dont use anymore since about 109k points, and my current one: Trooper_Collider
I know what EA account (and what email) is associated with the first one (the one I dont use anymore),
But I'm not sure about what is the EA account for Trooper_Collider. What should I do?
Thanx in advance for your replies.

P. S.: dont give me negative Karma for being a moron, ok?

HUH?

You can retive any account via email in account retrival under manage accounts(login). You can also change passwords via email.
If you forgot the email and the account name your screwed.
Hope that sums it up for you.

I think i may understand it are you talking about how to go ina nd play Euro forces and AF.  Your nickname is your account name that will be allowed to go on the AF and Euro servers you have to keep switching it when you want to play on that account

I think I know what you mean and if I understand you correctly, then you are worried about nothing. If you do not use the old account - you do not need it - period.

With respect to your BF2 / Gamespy / EA accounts:

CD Key: The most important thing to keep ahold of is the CD key. Without it you will not be able to reinstall the game if needed. Plus your CD key is unique. You can use it to install BF2 on as many computers as you like, but only one computer using that CD key can be playing online at any given time.

BF2 Accoount ID: This is a username/password account that is also referred to as your Gamespy ID. This is the name that you use when the game starts and you have to log in - it also is the name displayed when you are in game. You can have as many account IDs as you wish. They are not tied to your CD Key, so you could play with one of your account IDs on someone else's installation of BF2.

EA Downloader Account: This is another username/password account. This account is used to purchase the SF Expansion and booster packs online. You then need to run the EA Downloader program with the exact same account info in order to download the content that you have purchased. This account is not tied to your CD Key or BF2 Account ID.

Now here comes the strange part:

With BF2 and SF you can install these on multiple computers and play either one with as many BF2 Account IDs as you wish. The catch is that you cannot be playing with the same "installation" (i.e. CD Key) at the same time. You probably can't play with the same BF2 Account ID on different installations at the same time - but I can't confirm this.

However, the two booster packs work totally differently. The booster packs ARE tied to your BF2 Account IDs. When you purchase the game you must identify which BF2 Account ID you are purchasing the booster pack for. So, if you have BF2 installed on your computer and you have three different people that use that installation (with three different BF2 Account IDs) you would have to buy each booster pack three times!

So, if you cannot remember the first BF2 Account ID that you created and you do not intend to use it, then you do not need to worry about it. The only thing which relies upon your BF2 Account IDs is the booster packs and it appears you have those tied to the account you are currently using.

Hope this all makes sense.

Thanks Psycho! I think I dig it now! I was not worried about my first BF2 Account ID, but about the current one (that is, Trooper_Collider), mainly becoz I had to change my Gamespy Account Name in my EA Account (geez! it's nuts, isn't it?) in order to play the booster pack, so I thought I purchased the Booster Pack with the wrong Account Name! You know what I mean? At the end I did the right thing, though. But now I understand that I'll have to buy it again for my girlfriend coz she's a player too, and she plays on my computer.

Thx again for the help!
