BF2S Forums Singleplayer Problem

I've had the same "problem" in the past.. It's happening because the game "remembers" your previous choice of map lists. Starting a singleplayer game is no different from starting a multiplayer game. A "server" is launched, and then you log into it. The "server" in this case just remembers your previuosly selected map rotation. When you add maps, try to REMOVE karakand first, then it should work.

As for the CTD, o dont know. I've never tried any mods beyond what's been reasonably tested. If you problem continues, I'd recommend reinstalling BF2. It only takes ½ an hour anyway, so why not try.. it's lmost that long to load the maps (or at least it feel that way sometimes).
