New 1.4 Patch Delay

Why is EA/Dice making us wait for a map to be tested when what we needed two months ago is to get the 1.3 server bug fixed?

Is there anyone who would have stood against a small patch to fix this single problem?

I guess I need to post this on there forum too.

Yes I understand that part. I am just focussing on the biggest problem since BF2 was releasesd, The server crashes. Could we have gotten the server patch sooner if they didn't try to add all the extras to it? Yes. Why didn't they? ???

It could have been done better, a patch to fix the issues and a patch to add extra features to. But then in their POV it makes better sense to do them both at once....less work and less money they have to pay for labor, etc to get them both done.

I would love to see their Decision Model on this server bug fix and how that evolved into a full update with a new map. lol

You would hope that given the partnership relationship with server operators making the online game available to so many, at almost no cost to EA/Dice, would mean something. We enabled the sales to go so high they should fix the servers so we may continue expanding the base. Or not.
