I get into BF2 and loading into a server, usually one of my favorites (L@W or =HIT=) and when i get the load finished i get the "Start Game" box or sometimes i don't but still it'll drop out of the game and go to the Desktop. Sometimes it doesn't go to the desktop and i make it through. I don't understand why. Its at random times and i can't seem to get this fixed.
try searching for "CTD" on the forum.
setup auto join and after the loading bar comletes and take you to the screen that has the "Join" button hit esc to be thrown right into the game. hitting the join button will make you crash.
if the game crashes before the server is loading then connect via ip to your favorite servers.
