I hate it when you are putting C4 on a car getting ready to take off to take out some armor and than 3 guys get in your vehicle and take off. Well all I got to say they wont do that again after I detonated the C4 and they all died. Don't steal someones car if you see them putting C4 on it our you might be the next victim.

Ya, I used to play that game and there were no commands so you had to piss the guy off a bit in order for him to notice you. But in that game it took forever to kill people so you could never really do too much damage...daffytag wrote:

That's what the localisation files are for. It doesn't matter what language *my* version of the game is displaying, it'll come up on their screen in the language they've set it up in.daffytag wrote:

So if I, using English, ask for a lift to a guy playing in the Netherlands, it'll come up on his screen in Dutch, not in English.

Well, I do the same thing. I yell for a ride, see the guy taking, I whip out my pistol and shoot at his vehicle. the REASON for this is simply because then he gets that nice red "threat indicator" on his screen, and then MAYBE he will turn around and notice me screaming.
The thing is that it's by FAR the minority of people who actually pick people UP if they ask for a ride.
Agreed, it's sick when people shoot at you in a JEEP where you can take damage, or if they shoot at you with the AT rocket and can kill you. But the pistol give NO damage to choppers or armored vehicles, and as such seems a nice and "safe" way to get attention.

I shoot medics and support troops who refuse to drop a kit. I'd like to see it where you could shoot people in your own vehicle.
