patches fixes the game... but ironically it created more problems, just update them to play online.

Someone said B, but I  have pressed B and nothing happens. What should I look for when using my mic?  How would I know that my mic works? 

I also don't understand how the sound/mic test works.  What should you expect????

If you could answer those questions for me, that would great. Thanks to anyone that is nice enough to answer.

yes u press "B" to talk to ur squad. u have to be in a squad if you want to talk on ur mic. press "V" to talk to ur commander. u can test ur mic also. go 2 options, audio, mic test.  patchs fix things, but cause more problems so blah. and what do u mean by rooms that r hard or not? do u mean servers? well ya dont u just go in and yea. anything else u need to know?

maybe ur mic doesnt work w/ ur comp. or maybe u put it in wrong like me. i put my pic in where the speakers where supposed to go. lol( i know im retarded sometimes) other than that i dont know much about the voice caz i disabled it and use ts or ventrillo. sorry just play around maybe u will get it...

me too.  nothing happens in the mic test in game but the mic still works.  Just join a squad in an online game, press b and ask if they can hear you.  You may only earn unlocks by playing online, not single player.

These patches basically update your game. The makers of this game put on updates, in the form of patches, these have new features in them etc. Most servers you wont be able to play on if you dont have the newest patch.

You can unluck your first weapon have you have got 2 (or 3, i forget) ranks. You will unlock 1 weapon for each rank you go up after that. If you buy special forces, each rank you will get 2 unlocks instead of 1.

You unlock them in multiplayer games, in RANKED servers.

Some servers run the same map 24/7, generally these servers are for people who like that particular map. Find a server that says something like All maps or something.

By room i presume you mean server, each server usually has a mix of good players and not so good players.

To check if it works, join a squad then hold down the B button. If you see a little green microphone symbol near the middle right of your sceeen, that means the servers VOIP is on, speak and ask your squad members if they can hear you. If the little green symbol doesnt come up, that means that the servers VOIP isnt enabled (you cant talk to others)
