Yesterday I went to a 12/64 Server to get me 3 timebased Awards (IAR: xx Minutes). Two Thirds down the Round I got my Veteran Commander Badge, Staff Officer Ribbon and  Meritorious Unit Ribbon. So I Left the server. But up to now Those 3 Awards have not shown up!!! Should I have stayed till the end of the Round?

No you dont. Ive been disconnected from the server before and still recieved my award. Admittedly i was a bit concerned but it did register. Just wait a while and your awards should eventually shw up.

How does this awarding work. Are the stats saved on your computer and synced at a later time? Or are they saved on the serfer you received them on and synced at a later time?

In the first case you should not have a problem when you disconnect , in the second case you could forfeit your awaards when you disconnect.

yep you should because if you not there when the ´round is finished then the server does not report back.

I'm not so sure on this one. I got my metorious ribbon on a round that I didn't complete, I think if it awards 'in game', you get what you're given... Like I say, I'm not sure, but that's how it happened with me

I didn't get any GP or kills or deaths attributed to that round, just the ribbon

You do not have to finish the round to have your stats report.

Sometimes it seems like you need to stay because servers can be unreliable and sometimes just do not report at all. Your best bet is to stick with Official EA servers, or servers that have reported consistantly in the past.

You have to play long enough for EA to get updated with the award. This is guarenteed after the map is over so as a rule of thumb a always finish a map if i get an award

nah i went on dalian plant to get my aerial service ribbon, after i recieved it i quit  out the game, about a hour later it was in bfhq

OK, I got the answer (somewhat). I played again on the same server (I'm such a stupid F***). I got the same awards and stayed till the next round. NOTHING was given to me...

That server just sux!!!

Was it a ranked server? have you got the latest patch for bf2? .... are you really there jk
