Ive been re-reading some of the snipers guides and posts on BF2S lately, but theres something that doesnt seem to be quite clear atm..

Some people say L96A1 has the highest bullet drop, others say that M95 does.
So my simple question is that someones clears this up once and for all: which rifle has the most bullet drop?

Lol the above 2 posts simply defeat the object. Make a video? Some ub3r sniper just make a video of some long shots on wake or whatever. End of.

Well that cleared that up!

I thought the L96A1 had the least bullet drop and the M95 made up for it's lack of accuracy by being able to shoot through cockpits.

The L96 has greater bullet drop, though the M95 isn't as accurate at longer distances due to deviation over a long distance, not bullet drop.

L96A1 has more drop... M95 had the most before, but with the patch containing the L96A1 unlock they changed it to have less.

I am use to the larger drop of the L96A1 and now when I use the M95 at long range I miss ( bullet goes over there head). Using the same gun consistently makes a difference for the sniper. Thats why it is hard for a new player to become a good sniper, you have to use the stock rifle of what ever team your on. Why most of the snipers don't like the semi-auto rifles is because you only get to use them half the time and the Unlocks provide consistant gun (no re-ajusting each round).

Its about prefernce and what your going to use it for. L96A1 loads faster and has thin cross hiers ( better for longer ranges). M95 renders body armor useless and good for stealing chopper kills and the least bullet drop with the longest loading time. If your going for the head shot at 350m the M95 cross hiers covers the whole head. I do like shooting people through the metal fences with the M95.

"cross hairs" i think. The M95 has least bullet drop since patch hujawagaba. But that is what you wanted to know, with m24 having medium n l96 the most

The only maps I use the l96 on are Karkand and Mashtuur. ALl other times I pull out the M95. I find the M95 to be more accurate at greater distances... (200m+) than the l96... Too bad the scope lines are so thick... Really hurts the headshots...
Under 200m the l96 is a point and shoot for the most part. but sniping across the wake island bay you can really see the Bullet Drop.
