I think that the awards should take more skill and less time. Playing the game a lot shouldn't give u a badge cause it doesn't mean u deserve it. for example i think instead of 100 hours for expert combat medals you should have to have (Anti-Tank) 50 hours + IAR: 45 kills, 2 tank kills, 20 minutes, and 1 apc kill.

There should be more time/accuracy and kill requirements for everything!

Hard enough ?? Well sorry bud, but I have better things to do with my life than playing BF2 for my EXPERT ARMOR BADGE for 400 hrs. I already played a whole lot, but you only archieve hardcore points like our glorious leaders on the BF2 WORLD RANKING if you do not own a J-O-B !!!

my example requirements are just to stress the point of LESS TIME and MORE SKILL and directing the medal to the certain kit (like the 2 anti-tank kills for anti-tank) also.

And yeah i dont spend 6 hours a day on BF2 i have a life, but i also want to get rid of all my basic badges, but i dont have 100 hourrs to spend in a god damned tank or Airplane!

Yeah! I Agree! Badges like Expert Aviator need 150 hours and expert Tank need 400 hours. This is too much for me! Skill is much more important, less hours would be better!

But 45 kills....? and the 2 tank & 1 APC kills are just not needed.
Should be just 3 armor kills.

mayb u shud have to get a certain amount of kills with the Assault (for example) guns, so u cant just get all ur kills commanding or in choppers.

all the awards are a jokes, they are not based on skill, they are based on time. Any good award should be based on skill alone. 400 hrs sitting in a tank.....................

Unfortunately I seem to be going in to my Stats, looking for the next feasible award, and planning on playing until I get that award. I end up playing for too long and KNOW I am playing too long for something that may take forever.

Then I find a server with good performance and it's filled with TK-ers and boners.

I would really like an efficiency or proficiency factor layered with your performance to boost your points. 1x for standard playing, 2x for great play, and 3x for awesome play. Simple.

4.5-years in the military doing "fun shit" showed hard work and performance got you much further than being a stroke or broke-dick.

WTF man youve played for 790 hours and your complaing about spending too much time getting awards?

If you cant get the awards you dont deserve them. Skill and time may not be the same thing but one comes with the other. Just play the game and the awards will come, Stop playing to get awards. They ahve already nerfed the whole awards thing to give away everything for free and now you want more free awards?

The average player shouldnt get every award there is and only a small proportion should ever get 'expert' anything. If everyone got one then it wouldnt be very 'expert' would it?

either deal with the requirements or dont get the badge im sick of people complaining on how hard everything is, IF its too hard then get better, play longer or give up.

Personally, I think the only change should be that you CAN'T earn badges, medals, etc. by being commander or using a vehicle (other than the ones specific to commander/vehicles)....you should have to earn them be using the kit available and killing in hand to hand combat.

Too many people earn badge after badge after ribbon by whoring equipment or just being commander and getting kills from arty strikes. CHEAP...

I agree. For example:
If you don't like to play with Engineer Kit, but you want to get all Awards, you are FORCED to play with that Kit.
If you want that Expert Engineer Combat Badge you have to play 100 hours as an Engineer. Thats just ridiculous!

Now you all know that the intelligent minds at EA/DICE would set medals, awards and ribbons to suit themselves and not the playing world. I have been in servers and won numerous medals, awards and ribbons but then when you come here or to EA and ask why they aren't showing up they always have the same fucking gay ass excuse " we don't find anywhere you received them" or "maybe the server doesn't report earnings". Well if its the later of the two then tell me how the fuck a server can be called a RANKED server if it doesn't report earnings. Most of the set limits to medals and such are just that...SUCH BULLSHIT...
I guess the best thing to do is just play the game and see what comes to you for actually playing for the enjoyment and not the EA/DICE enjoyment. It amazes me that two companies like EA/DICE could produce a game with the magnitude of BF2, BF2 SF, BF2 EF and BF2 AF and still have so many fucking problems. Maybe they should pull their heads out of their asses and realize just how bad they are making the gaming community look with this FUCKING JUNK. I purchased and downloaded Euro Forces and still to this day it still doesn't work. Hey EA/DICE, Here is a suggestion...FIX THE FUCKING JUNK you already have out before putting new shit on the market. And now I noticed that you can buy both BF2/BF2 SF in a combo pack now for the original price as BF2 when it came out. It would be nice to wake up one day and have BF2 all fixed and be able to get the booster packs on a hard disc as well. Ltrz

Well... Less time... They should firstly work on the fact that when you get a ribbon/badge ingame, It should GIVE it to you when the round's done... 1 of my friend got his Helli Ribbon and his Vet transport... like... 2 days ago(Ingame) But they are still not in his bfHQ... and... he's pretty pissed off...
