I can not get my stupid basic command badge which makes me so mad because it is the only badge i dont have. And once i get the basic command badge i can get the veteran badge. Can someone please help me!!!
find a nice server that will last long enough 4 ya to get 40 command points. its not really hard. find like a 18 player server with a 32 or 64 player map. its like the easiest badge..well 4 some..
64 player map with only the minimum players (like 16). Just make sure your side wins and you should have the 40 required points. Really getting that badge all depends on you're team. So mark targets(enemy spotted, Tank spotted) and tell them over VoIP where the enemies are. its a really easy badge to get.

actually it doesnt matter if you win because you need 40 before the 2x. so just join a 64 map with the min like they said and its guaranteed

Command points: Teams global score (negative scores not counted) divided by number of players in your team.
And on large maps with 16 players everyone has a high score giving you lots of points.

Sometimes playing, i.e. killing, also counts towards the points required, but you do need to keep opening that command screen - the award will only come with that screen open.
As a point of fact, not only are 'Pistol&Knife' servers against the EULA agreement - fighting commanders are too. Although, I am happy to be corrected on the second point of fact... (thank god the neg karma is gone...)

You gotta command squads. You get points when you ask a squad to "Attack this position!", etc. and they do it.

this is not correct , when commanding on road rage . ihad lots of kills flag caps etc , at the end of my round my command score was 29 or 33 . if i had been on foot i would have got 70 or 80 . was only 10 or 12 people in serverIBKCKNURASS wrote:

Fighting commanders are not agains the ROE. In 16 player servers you have to be a fighting commander most of the time or your team will lose.
24 player servers with 64 player maps are the easiest to get the 40 pts for the command badge and 50 pts for the Staff Officer Ribbon on.
The longer the round lasts the more likely you will get the command badge or ribbon or both.
Most of the time when I command I get between 35 and 50 pts for commanding. But then I play on servers with 20+ to 50 pts before the bonus for winning. I generally don't command on 16 player servers regardless of map size because I make too mistakes when I do.
As someone else stated above spend your time commanding not fighting. Occassionally you will have to fight to protect your assests. If you find yourself struggling as a commander, then only be commander on the side with an uncappable flag.

If you cap 10 flags and kill 10 enemy soldiers you would have a Global score of 50 - 60 pts depending on if the flags where enemy or neutral at the time you capped them.
As Commander you lose out on those 50 -60 pts.
basic command is easy try getting 25000 pts for war college ribbon thats hard . 9000 to go

I had the same trouble. Go on a high point karkand server and command. If your lucky youll get the 40 for commander and the 10 more for staff officer ribbon.
i never asked squads anything and i even got the veteran one and the ribbon. 64 servers are so fast.

Yeah, pretty much what they all said. I've gotten it twice without even trying in the last month or so on half-empty 64-player servers. Also got the staff officer ribbon a couple of times in much the same type of game.

In my opinion Basic Command Badge is really easy to get, even the Veteran one is easy to get.

I jammed mine without trying! is it 40pts in a round?? gutted i almost got my 50 before x2 but then i got kicked to the windows curb! great!
Same suggestions apply for expert. you need a 30 min round to get it. Not that hard once you understand what you have to do.
