Okay, just a few weeks ago I got broadband and didn't have to go to internet cafes anymore. So after installing 1.3 I began to have problems in combat with my mouse (MX 500) when I would try and scroll to shock paddles and revive dying teammates. It would not let me save them in time, and when I needed a gun same thing. In a nut Shell is it (A) My mouse (B) My ISP COMCAST or (C) EA's great l33t <sarcasm> 1.3 </sarcasm> -_-;;;;;;;;;;;;
Moral of the story, scroll wheels r too slow for weapon switching, bind some keys
But if its abnormally bad I'd say its ur mouse, mx500 aint no spring chicken no more, get a copperhead or G5

I used to scroll but now I use the 123456 buttons above wasd, much easier and imho faster. You can adjust scroll speed though on some mouses so you might give that a go.
The scroll wheel on my came-free-with-computer mouse has never let me down.
