OK, I might sound like a bit of a noob but i have no clue where to place the target when you bomb with the Chinese and MEC aircraft. I can bomb with the american aircraft but when i get in the seat of the MEC/Chinese its a little bit of guessing work....hehe So if someone could please explain OR provide screenshots that'd be awesome
I just dive nose down towards the target, line it up on that little line the release the plague upon the poor little guys, then pull up quickly!
As you can see from my stats im not the best in the air, you might need some advice from someone more experienced.

I just practiced not the best either but I can kill stuff with it. Get on singleplayer and mess around with it
thats pretty much what i do... divebomb all the time.... although with the new jets in armored fury i seem to of gotten pretty damn good at just level flyovers.... im not even that good in a jet but lately i seem to be going like 40 or 60 to 10 or 15 in kd ratio on armored fury in the jets.... maybe luck? practice is all i can say. find out what works best for you.ssonrats wrote:

so im guessing divebombing is the easiest way to bomb? In a fighter...
I have like, half an hour of flight time. Im a land-lobber.
But anyway, back on topic:
All of my THREE KILLS () in an aircraft have been done by dive boming- I cant work out any other way to to get kills in an aircraft.
Please dont quote me- I cant fly

The line under the center target circle is your guide. the more level you fly the further down that line is where your target should be to kill it.
If I remember correctly there is a gap between the top of the line and the bottom of the circle.
So your angle of attack will make a difference in that gap.

Whats that have to do where you place the target....DSRTurtle wrote:

the bottom of that line is where the bombs hit in level flight. you move up the line as you dive at the target. The steeper the dive the closer to the circle the bombs will be.
I could give you advice but i could also tell you to use the fucking search because there are dedicated threads to this.
If you fly in cockpit view (you can see the canopy) just put your target between the center reticule and the nose of the plane and drop away. This is most effective when dive bombing because you can just release the bombs straight down. This also allows both bombs to land on the same spot.
What I do is either switch to cockpit view or just fly with it all the time.

dude ppl can tell you all you need to know but to really be good you need to do it your self just try try and try some more I'm not the best in the world but i am good with the bombs just remember

A good pilot will never use that line and circle in bombing mode because it is extremely unreliable. Why? When you fly a jet, angel between you and the target is constant changing and height of your jet is different every time you try to bomb a target. Also the different target varies in speed (jeep and tank) which requires different ways to bomb them. All above factors proves why you should never look at the line in the circle.DSRTurtle wrote:

I never said it was reliable. If your wings are not level your bombing will be off. I use it as a guide to know if I'm going to be close to the target. The rest of it is feel and experience. Each pilot will a different way of bombing targets and how to sight them. I was replying to the question about the line and how to use it as a general guide.DarkNova wrote:

i'm going to go ahead and say im slightly above avg at flying. i've not once used the hud on the jet for bombing. just go on an empty server and practice bombing things at different levels/angles. that's how i figured it out. it varies too much for the usage of the HUD...
In fighter jets (2 bombs) this is what I do (i'm not 100% accurate, only sometimes do I direct hit a tank, but 2 runs usually get it for me). What I do after getting another load of bombs from the airstrip is head up about 200 ft, when you know where your target is, dive at about 45 or so degrees of the target (I find, the steeper you dive, the more accurate your bombs are, but you have more of a risk of not pulling up fast enough, also it takes more time to get to 350ft then dive at 70 degrees),
so yea, dive at 45 degrees of the target, if its a tank, it takes alot of practise to get the bombs spot onto it (My favorite thing when i'm is a jet is bombing, the looking in my rear view to see my single bomb hit the tank directly in the middle and blow it to shit, love that). If your bombing a jeep or car, remember you don't have to be as accurate, ive found that bombing anywhere within 10 or so meters of a car blows it up or atleast kills the people inside.
Another tip that on alot of the servers I play on, the pilots don't do: always, always! fly in bombing mode unless you're attacking a jet/chopper, this way you can see any vehicle/a site on the ground without having to look for the car graphic itself.
Any more q's just ask, my jet kd is 17 so yea

not quite right, the jet's wings doesnt have to be at same level in order to get the bomb accurate. You can fly side way and still be able to drop bombs accurately. Overall it's all about the feelings and experience. I think most people flying their jets with cockpit view off. That's why they use the line as a general guide. If you fly with default view (that's what I do all the time), you can tell if you are flying side ways or straight without looking at the line.
Well I'm not exactly known for "raining death from above", but I've got a few bomb kills up my sleeve.
As said above, there is no 'magic formula' for making your bombs hit. You just need to get a feel for it, so put in a few hours on single player Operation Clean Sweep (or Co-Op!), and you will learn the skills to take on-line.
One important thing no-one above has mentioned is that you need to have a button on your joystick (or whatever) for the Chase Rear view so that you can see where your bombs land. ALWAYS watch where they go!

What silver said mostly. But the angle you come at and your speed theoretically are irrelevant. You can come in at any angle any speed if your timing of dropping the bomb is good. I found that when i used to fly an F-35B i could fly level over tanks and drop the bombs and take out a tank in one shot. Also the higher you drop the bombs the closer they are going to land together.
Wrong, a direct hit from a jet bomb will not kill one tank (full HP). Also how close two bombs land vary from jets.Sgt_Bob05 wrote:

Thanks for the help guys. I would put a button on my joystick for rear but lol my joystick sucks ASS. But yeah ill just keep on practicing and ill eventually get it.
Yes it will. Watch plane whores video. He only drops one bomb at a time. 1 bomb direct hit = bye bye tank.DarkNova wrote:

You obviously don't know what you are talking about. You should do more research on this before you shoot your mouth off. Meanwhile check this great aviator guide by Zenmaster:Sgt_Bob05 wrote:
