Claymores are easy to remove provided you see them first, then simply approach from the side and wrench it. no problems.

Yah, I remember reading in one of their patch release thingies, that you as sniper (or engineer for that matter, not sure if it also included the Spec ops) could pick up your "stuff" again by pressing "g" same as for kit pick up... When the new patch came out I was like "woho, I'll just play sniper and pick up enemy clays and place them in their FACE !", but it never happened..... Too bad, I kinda liked the idea.

It's good, I would support it, but think about it this way:

Karkand, MEC sniper. He runs and plants a few strategic claymores, then runs back and waits for easy kills.

No kills come? He checks the UAV and see the enemy is on the otherside or something, so he picks up the claymores, runs over somewhere else and endagers the right place.

Claymore spamming is bad enough as it is, being able tomove them after placing will just make it worse.

So dont play Karkand, come and play wake with the real boys.. Infantry battles on wake island are a prime example of a Real battle, Not any Nade Whoring, Claymore spamming, Noob Tubeing...

The only thing bad about that map is the J-10s, and its hard for US to get a base.

Coming back to the topic: yes, should definetly be made that way, seeing as these claymores are laser/infrared clays, and not wired ones...

They should be spotted. I ocassionally see one and spot it as a boat (Though im 99% sure every idiot on the map just thinks im randomly spotting fake boats.)

And Destroyable via nade, or gun.

Yea u can disarm claymores with your wrench. I have even tested it. The way i first found out was a bot in singleplayer did it.. i was like WTF? U can do that?

Yes,

They should either:
1) Be able to disable it and reuse it else where
2) Defuse it rendering it useless
3) Blow it up with a grenade
