Enemy Supply Box Spotted!

I encountered this anomaly last night...

I was Commander playing against one other guy in my clan in our server. Thinking it would be funny, I dropped a Supply box in front of his tank. He proceeded to thank me for the ammo and started driving forward. As he pushed the crate along with his tank...BOOM! Both his tank and the crate exploded as if he'd hit a mine! I had a nice view from the Commander screen too, btw.

I've never seen this before. We both were wondering what was going on. Anyone else encountered this phenomenon? Curious...

I think he shook the box too violently and set off the mines and C4 that are in the crate.

It was a fresh board...just us two in it. Neither of us was placing mines. Just a strange happening...

Perhaps he was on fire and didn't make it on time to repair himself...?
And the Box killed him...

i think te other guy just scared because of something falling right before his ( seeing hole ) so he wetted his pants and (short circuit) his tank causing it to set his gastank on fire and it exploded. srry 4 bad english

maybe the cowbell in the box made the right tone to vibrate the tank till it exploded

I've had my tank explode because I drove up over stuff... I think the system is set up so that if the collision boxes screw up and suddenly find themselves inside each other the two objects explode... or something

Sometimes im driving in a game and my tank will just jump up like 20 m into the air and when it lands it just blows up. Has happend to me like 2 times, and its no a kill because the message says: Malo is no more, plus it doesnt loose any HP up until it lands.

Strange but not uncommon with the bf2 collision model it seems. I've had several incidents where I'd be driving a full tank, tap the corner of a box or wall and blow up instantly for no reason. Never a supply crate, but I guess anything's possible with this coding.

beeng...that may be.

Everyone else...the tank wasn't damaged. We'd just started the round. I only dropped the box because I didn't have arty available yet. It's probably collision gremlins!!

I had a tank and drove it over the carcass off a humvee, all of a sudden, BOOM and I'm dead. Just some weird glitch that caused my tank to blow as the humvee did.

This happens accoasionaly if the vic gets stuck. A while ago i was tankin on pen, i was stuck between a barrier and a wall and seconds later i just blew up.
