I was reading BF2Wiki and i found some info on defibrillators:

"It is possible to avoid being revived by a medic. If you were under heavy fire and you prefer to re-spawn at another location, you must quickly open your overview map. The medic will not be able to magically bring you back to life. Try to avoid it, because it will leave the medic in a vulnerable position."

EDIT: it seems this might not work after all

I'm not sure this is correct. Often, when i die (critically wounded) i bring up the map or spawn screen. I still get revived

Thats why some corpses just fade away before you can revive them too

They Fade away because it was a Were Killed. As for the Map thing, I thought it was Ficed in some Patch. Either way, If it Works, It Works, And Good Post. .

That's a cool tip, I didn't know that. Me and a buddy usually do this to teamkillers until they switchteams or disconnect, lol. Revive, shotgun, revive, shotgun... etc... it's quite entertaining!

Yeah, thats not true.

If you die near a wall, sometimes you can't get revived. And if you get killed by something with a lot of splash damage, it also wont be possible to revive. You are "Dead" not "Critically Wounded".

I get so pissed at medics when reviv i take knife and chase their butts all over the map.
