i was out last nite (friday night) and with me being irish and all i decided to order me some guiness extra cold, it was damn good!...sooo smooth...so bitter...so refreshing...i love ireland....maybe thats the drink still talking
I pour numerous Guinness' every shift. Always with the shamrock drawn into the head. Chicks always seem to love that. I'd say I poured about 15 tonight with a fair share of Black @ Tan's.

Cheers!
It's the only beer I can stand anymore, one question though, I thought they served it warm over there with stuff like hops & crap floating on the top of the head.

Tastes good gets you drunk and is a dinner all in one. Turns your shite black though.
Yep great substitude for food. I dont like the extra cold much more then the original, i have yet to try the 'tucan brew'. Heard its quite nice
love the stuff myself, but mix a few too many pints of guinness with a curry and the next morning your shit will look like a pint of guinness.
bit runny, turns the water black and you get a nice white foam on top
love it!
EDIT:oh, and the extra cold is crap, the chemicals they add to make it like that give it a really weird taste

i wish there was still a neg button. it shouldn't even be classed as a drink, its something you use to get oil of the driveway.
ah its a great drink, and im pretty sure the extra cold stuff is from the same barrel it just goes through a different cooler pipe! thats the way it works for other beers... but i may be wrong with guinness
I've brewed a couple hundred gallons of homebrew by now but that's one brew I could never replicate. God knows how they do it but that shit is proof that god exists. Someday I'm gonna figure the method out and thats gonna be one helluva good day.
yeah, its sooooooooooooo gooddavid363 wrote:

Great work guys, im stuck in work and would murder a pint. But me being a Cork man I have to add Murphys into the equation.
To our American barmen friends, only try the shamrock head here on the 17th o March any other day and you will find out another thing the Irish are renowned for in pubs.

Jamesons or Bushmills yes please, Guiness, no thanks, ackky vee.
hm i drunk guinness last friday for the first time... it tasted quite good and milde (is this english? milde..) but hm there was a taste of cold coffee in it and i dont like cold coffee but its still better then most of the german beer like bitburger or diebels... does anyone of you know any german beer? ooh veltins v+!! best beer on earth
I think you're getting confused with Ale which should be served at a maxiumum of 5C and have either a clear head or no head at all (northerners like a head, southerners don't).TrollmeaT wrote:

The days of "Its not a proper pint unless its god a dead mouse floating it in!" are long gone.... Unless you drink cider.
I must admit I love Guinness as well though.
ahhh yes the mothers milk guinness with a bushmills black chaser.....its such a pity that we dont get the real stuff over here
guiness is lovely but john smiths and tetleys are the way forward!!! :p
The only thing i don't like about Guiness is the after math on the [THRONE] the next morning But other then that it's a awesome beer XD
