Here's a question I don't believe has been asked before.

I'm currently a First Sergeant with 21K points. 

A team mate is a Master Sergeant with 37K points (skipped basic knife badge and went straight to vet badge and missed opportunity to get "advanced rank").

If we both apply for commander at the same time, who gets it?  Is it points or is it purely rank, even though he has 50% more points?

Secondly, if two players with the same rank apply for commander at the same time is it just first to the post, or does it then default to most points?

Anybody know?

I say it would be the rank that will decide whom will get the commander spot.

Rank decides.  The points act as a tiebreaker if two guys the same rank apply to be commander.

points decide, I have tested it with my friend, I have 17123, and my friend blackcode 13125 and I was commander

you're not listening to the conversation cat4ever. First and Master Sgt are different ranks.

dude, the commander position is not first come first serve.  I don't claim to know exactly how it works, but it's not FCFS

supposedly it has something to do with the previous round, not overall points.  i think i remember one of the moderators on here talking about it before.  yes, rank comes before points, but if two master sergeants apply for it, then i think it reverts back to who got more points in the round previous.  its something strange like that.

It is from experience, NOT first come first serve.

(I'm pretty sure deject was clear...but since no one was paying attention..)

1- It is first of all RANK

2- if they are on the same rank, then POINTS

Therefore, RonBall9, you will get the rank over your mate...

now... if you press the pagedown button, I don't know if your mate gets it, or he has to reapply...
