I was wondering how do you put the weaopn away ? so you can get clean screenshots and what not
you cant put a weapon away... but you could take the screen between switching weapons. It might take a few tries to get it right, but then the shot is better.

actually you can take the mini map away in settings the transperisy- not right spelling but meh yeh just look in video settings i think and it will be in there somewhere in game options and u can turn it to solid or not there
you can get rid of the hud and messages quite easily. open console (^) and type "renderer.drawHud 0" without the ". to get it back just type the same with a 1 instead of 0.
