I play Karkand quite a lot but am getting increasingly fed up with it, as it's full of Tank whores and 'nade spammers - if it didn't have the armour then I think it would play a lot better. Despite playing the map more than any other, my stats are worse there than just about anywhere else, so it would probably be god for me if it went.....

All the Kark whores would'nt change pathces, the 24/7's would stay on the old patches and nothing would happen. Or all the whores would leave and BF2 would die (well half the players would leave anyway).
It would never happen unless EA went insane and wanted to lose all there money
I hate karkand ... only the inf only karkand server are fun .... My map is dalian because i like chopper and dalian has a lot of choppers.....
I'd just play more Warlord. I won't miss Karkand, though you can make big points on it.
Id rejoice to be honest. Karkand really should go - I havent played it for almost 2 months now. Stupid map (yes, i have played just under 60hours on it, but then I got out of it )
People would either go to Sharqi/Mashtuur/Warlord/Ghosttown or even just stop playing BF2 fullstop.
Although, Id love to see them all goto Great Wall....get that map up and running again

The new map would be Jalalabad, simple, all the karkand only servers would switch to a combonation of Sharq/Wake/'La-bad

youd hear whines, moans and complaints. But they would find another map/server and just move on. However they would flood and invade the forums all complaining.

Those that play Karkand the most to obtain their points on the top 10 would fade away like the nubs they are. I seriously wouldn't mind if EA did that, so those little Karkand Whores were forced to play other maps. You know where they would go though; Sharqi. Good for nub gunners on MEC to eat those pesky infantry whores once and for all with the meat grinder.

i would sell the game along with specialforces and find something else to do. Maybe get a different game that wasnt as fucked up and not made by EA/Dice

Yea? But when can the Karkand whores know they are destroying Battlefield 2? Reason to stat pad? To catch up with those Medics like Blazin.uk or support like Volx nade spamming and using a damn macro to dolphin dive. What maps do K/P servers play? Always Karkand, but I saw one playing Oman 16 player. The fact the PLA gets no loving, and the boosters died out? Why is everyone so down on karkand?? The reason people play it, is because it is a perfect map that balances urban close quarters fighting and an open map for armor. snipers have their hiding spots, spec ops and AT have their devices when tanks get hung up in the streets, plenty of bottleneck action for assault at the hotel, and medics get their revivals along with support. It is a commanders playground.This map has something for everyone except plane and chopper guys, and why should they care, there are a ton of other maps to accommodate them.

p/s I realised that I also wanted to play infantry map as PLA , but there is no such map
Because every cheap and easy tactic that worked so well on karkand would be used on Warlord too, essentially ruining the great infantry combat you can get on it.Longbow wrote:

I mostly play karkand now , because I want faster rank up (4.3k left for colonel) . I'm using my stock assault rifles & GL . Whats wrong if same as me players will join Warlord ? I'm not a nade spammer or claymore whore , I don't use armor on infantry-based maps , being AT I use my trusty PP-19 against infantry instead of cheap & unfair ERYX . Any easy tactics ? I don't see such amongst my list .
So what will such players as me ruin ?

Why thank ya for the Karma my friend. I'd like to see a PLA infantry map also. I believe the way the point system is arranged, seems that infantry combat is the most efficient but it's also the dirtiest around here.
I agree with Sarge's post. I've played Warlord and it gets really anoying with all the dirty tricks people place in the Palace. Those damn G36Es and PKMs. God only knows why DICE favors those two classes.
