That's kind of stupid, they should have kept it in, other than the fact that a plane crashed into a building, it has nothing to do with 9/11. In 9/11 they meant to crash into the building, in a war, a fighter jet most likely crashed accidentally into the building. I can't believe they did that, if I was making games I wouldn't care how controversial the game is, it's not like people aren't going to buy the game just because of something in a map that doesn't even come with the game! Just put the damn plane back it! Makes it seem more like an actual war!
I agree that it looks better with it in there and don't have a problem either way, however the 9/11 vs WW2 comparisons are not legit. The main reason if they took it out due to 9/11, it's because there are still many people alive today affected by 9/11 and might not be over it. Remember, there a lot of people at video game ages 12-50, who lost people in that recent tragedy. Most of the WW2 generation alive today are probably too old and don't play video games, thus any outrage would be minimal to non-existant.

That is proper stupid really at the end of the day!!! Its a plane in a building they are makin out 9/11 is the only time it ever happened and all planes in buildins have become offensive!!! I didnt look at that screeny when i first saw shots from jalalalalabad and think 9/11 i thought realism looks like a real warzone to me with burning vehicles and stuff not new york!!! Over-exaduration if you ask me! I kno it was a big and very terrible thing but is there any need to dwell on it so much that it affects our gaming???

They should take out the trashed Zero's on Wake like someone else already said.

Anyone also notice that Jalalabad is also brighter in the BETA2 screenshot? Like it looks more like a city in the desert rather than London on a Monday morning. (The sky)

When i saw the plane i didnt even care it was there i kinda liked it. its a cool little detail they should keep in there.

maybe instead of being the WTC plane incident, it's become the Pentagon scene where there was a big hole but like no evidence of a plane anywhere.
All you people have to understand that EA is a company that has to protect its image. If ONE person gets offended by it, it could turn into a big deal, and they can avoid any chance of that by just taking it out of the game.
