I ws under the impression that you keep the points when the server crashes.

I've lost roughly 10k points from server crashes, and the more unknown bug of stats-not-being-recorded.
I think it's absolutley pathetic that EA/Dice have failed to create software which can seamlessly run on servers.
And yes, it makes me feel depressed, and I want my 10k points back, 95% of which were 4+ KDR and 4+ SPM.
Oh, and to all of you people who have said or will say "Bla bla, who cares about points, just play for fun!", have you ever considered that a large majority of people find it FUN to earn badges and points? Stop being so ignorant.

Yeah them Internode servers have had me pulling me hair out as well. They used to be good, too.
Lately though I've been spamming PLA on LameArena #5, and I seriously can't remember the last time it crashed. Imagine that: Telstra's product working while everyone else's is f*cking up. The mind boggles.
And I've learned to steer well clear of ICONZ #9 - I've never seen it go longer than a few minutes without a crash.

I wouldn't know really, I havent' checked my stats in about a month, and thats when I got a flying aa thingy-ma-bob, because it popped up and scared the living crap out of me, I wanted to see what it was. Of course when I looked at that I realized, Hey Im near that flower thingy rank...cool.
And now of course because all the jibber-jabber.
EDIT: wow, Im really close now to that flower rank or Major...eff the other stats... Playing for how the game was meant to be played - FUN.

Stats arn't everything. Sure the patch sux and it is frustrating when the server crashes but you were having fun before the crash right? Isn't that why the game is played? For fun?
I have been robbed of many points and gold stars. But generally the server a lot more good stable rounds then rounds it crashes on, so its not a big deal.
Not much longer for the new patch now...
