New start as soon as it comes out. I had BF2 for about 250 days so I never stood a chance of getting a good ranking in the world.
It wont be long after the game is released till someone fines a cheat/glitch/exploit for 2142. Newbs will cry again and you'll be slammed with stupid patches wich in return you'll find yourself trying to adapt to the changes. Nothing changes in EA its a never ending process. EDIT: I'm into modern/pass warfare games and not into futuristic games, ill play future games in the future. Also make sure you have extra cash for the expansion/booster packs.

hey they might pull a valve (pulling a valve is releasing their game later than expected like what valave did with hl2, and it made it more worth the wait) but i wouldnt care, personally we will have to see if 2142 will suck when it comes out because you cant judge what dice has done with bf2 to what it will do in the future, they did a god job on 1942, they have learned from their mistakes in bf2 and are attempting to correct the shit that has been done to bf2 (which means they care somewhat) so im not gonna jump the gun and not buy it i wanna try it and if i dont like it the ill return it and get quake wars.
oh and theres gonna be a different ranking system and 40 unlocks which i dont think quake wars has

i wanna start over again, a new game, a new rank. I started quite late on BF2 anyways, and i won't be up on the number one spot anyhow, but a new start from the very beginning would be cool. I may buy it on the day it comes out anyhow, but then again, i may not. depends.

I'm not saying bf2142 will be crap, I'm sure it will be a good game. but quake wars in my opinion will be the better game.

idk about that vassilli. cuz look, they made patches for bf2 cuz of peps bitching. they want to know how the majority peps feel about it. EA will apply the patch to BF2412. everyone would be happy and the ones that are not, they can play reg. bf2 and keep up there hacking and "shit".

Remove the stupid stats. Stats led to most of the complaints, patches, idiots, and screw-ups in BF2.

Wouldn't mind to keep my stats but this is a brand new game and brand new war. Hope the ranking system won't e the same. Hope to have a sneak a pick on ranks awards and so on.
I would like a fresh start cause i also got a late start at BF2 (Jan. 06)and i think i could do 10x better.Getting used to the new weapons and gadgets would be the hardest part of BF2142,but most everyone else would also have to adjust.So it would sorta level the playing field.
