Okay i need vet heli to become brigadier general but i hate helicopters. So i was thinking i could go back to 1.12 or 1.03 and blackhawk whore. Am i allowed to do this and are there any servers that still use these patches. I live in australia but i could deal with high pings for a bit.

If you want i would say go with the 1.12 patch, thats what i have and theres a 64 man server on it with no ping kicker if you dont know how to do it:

No there no Aus servers with old patches, bad luck
I am no expert on this, but I had heard that ranked servers must upgrade within X days to whatever the latest patch is to remain ranked ... that is, a 1.12 or 1.03 server can operate, but it would not be a ranked server.Sgt_Bob05 wrote:

They're ranked servers running both 1.03 and 1.12. Ranked servers are supposed to be running the latest patch, but there are a select few that aren't.
According to the RoE, players can't get in trouble for playing on these servers, but the server providers can.

Unfortunately most of the 1.12 servers are located in the states and the quality of the servers isn't the best. Therefore get used to a lot of lag on these servers.
On a regular basis you can see some high ranked 1.3 players on these servers, but the most players out there are really low ranked. It's not very difficult to take Gold Medal after Gold Medal on 1.12 servers.

Just idle in the blackhawk on a 64man kubra with 16 ppl and command . Or just suck it up and learn how to play multiple vehicles/weapons.
Idling huh, Way to fuck up my SPM. I can actually fly very well. I've practiced lots on local server and single player but its just boring. Besides teaching myself to get very good at another vehicle is a lot of work. E.g. learning postioning, tv missle.[BBF*EF]Stuka wrote:

Yeah the Dogfighting is great forgot how much skill was needed back then,the AA is even so the F-35 can avoid the missles without haveing to waste flares really fun.SargeV1.4 wrote:

with mec go for for the gunners seat on sharqi, thats got to work the gun is a grenade launcher ffs. 50 kills with a good pilot easy.
