I got this game a month ago, and it worked perfectly fine. Loading times were < 2-3 minutes. As of three days ago, however, those load times have nearly quintipled. Now they take 10-15 minutes. It's mostly the Verifying Client Data part (the actual loading takes about two mintues, the verifying part takes like 10 minutes). I know this is where Punkbuster scans all my files. Well, I haven't altered ANY of my files (with the exception of renaming my .exe file, as I heard that that helps load issues...but I did that in response to my problem). When I actually get into the server (sometimes I get conenction lost), I ping normally ( <50 in US servers) and I still get teh same, constant FPS. I run the game on all medium settings, @ 1024 x 768. I've tried reducing the graphics all to low, but that didn't help.

I have an AMD Athlon 64 3200+, ATi Radeon x700 AGP, and a gig of RAM. I've rebooted, reinstalled (twice), repatched, defragged, run anti-spyware/virus software, I've tried fixes laid out in a topic here and on Totalbf2.com, but NOTHING has worked. My load times are still the same. Anything else I should try? Help is greatly appreciated and thanks.

I bet it's not enough ram so it's using your HD as ram and that just aint gonna cut the mustards.

Well, what sense does that make? It was working fine for a month, and then it decides that there's not enough RAM (when I haven't touched things like that in my computer)? If before I was getting good load times, and now I'm not, I don't think this has to do with my RAM. More might certainly help, but if it ran fine at one point.
