That's ok,I made them pay by camping the Hotel most of the round.Even though we lost i milked an expert a/t badge from it.

wow... mec factory uncapable.. that is by far the stupidest rule ive seen..

no driving to airfield is good rule.  gives equal chance for everyone

anyways, i used to play on this 24/7 dragon valley server.  was a good server with an ok admin and ok rules (kick for fowl language, carrier rape, etc).  alltho what burned me up about this server is that you got kicked for saying "noob".  yes thats right, noob is a banned word.  anyways, the server ended up dieing, and i move on.  fast forward to a few days ago.  i wanted to play dragon again because ive improved my j10 whoring skills.  so i search and find a clan server.  guess what?  same server.  same admin.  same noob-is-a-banned-word.  well, i had forgotten this, and was promply kicked for saying "you are such a noob" to my idiot helo pilot who tried to cap the PLA flag nearest to the essex in the helo.  we took a tow in the face so i said the word that warrants the most rediculous kick.

i think the admin of this server is on these boards and if he sees this

The "no taxi ride to the jet"-rule is only there because every little pimple-faced noob runs to the chopper/jet-spawnpoints.
People are idiots and some bigger idiots try to make up rules to compensate for this idiocy,nobody follows it anyway and the lame kicking for bullshit starts.

I see it every day on Wake Island - one look at the minimap and I can tell that whether my team is composed out of total retards(because they all spawn at the friggin' airfield!) or they know how to defend the island(both island edges covered with tanks,jeeps and snipers,airforce doing the rest.).
There are even so stupid idiots - they take the tank from the South Base and drive it up to the airfield,the completely wrong direction and they abuse precious firepower which is needed at the south tip of the island as a friggin' taxi to maybe get a jet(as if...).

It really depends on the players,servers which have a catalogue of stupid rules are probably smacktard central anyways.
If people would use a bit more common sense(only 3 people can occupy the jet and the chopper,no need to run to the helipad if there are people already standing there,stuff like that..) there could be something like real teamwork in a round and there wouldn't be any need for any of these bizarre rules.

btw,I think the server admin who sets up rules like making up his own uncapturable bases(like the factory in Karkand guy) should be reported and statsreset,if he wants to have a game with his own rules he should play unranked,but not bend the rules on a ranked server to boost/protect his e-penis or something.

No C4 or claymores on flags or in rooms.

Got kicked for using C4 on Irongator map, to stop the MEC heli flying in at the Lift entrance.

I'm surprised no one mentioned all of the Moongamers rules.  Don't they have twenty on their Karkand map?

"no stealing vehicles from enemy base" - atleast 1/4 of my kicks are for that reason

"clan members have first pick on ALL vehicles" i lol when i saw that

"u must wait till aircraft are off the ground to attack them" i left that server when i saw that

i honestly hate all rules cept the "no cheating/stat padding/tk for vehicle" everything else is totally lame. wouldn't want to fck up an admins 1337 stats by killing him now would we.
