- Can nVidia Geforce4 Ti 4200 run BF2???
no way it dosent support the shaders that bf2 uses then min is a fx5700 or an ati 9200
Don't even bother. Go play CS 1.6 or 1942.

Yeah. EA said themselves that the 4xxx series Geforce is unsupported, buyer beware.
Of course, it was more PC to say
"Video card must have 128 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets:
* NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 or greater
* ATI Radeon 8500 or greater"
Than to say it like they used to.

Good god no, unless you want to shoot the running squares.
Thank you very much for the help(although a little sarkastic:)) Any good advises on wich one to buy? as you probably guessed im not that much of a computer-wiz, so any advise would be welcome:D
Depends on your budget...As stated above mininum is 5700/9200, but they both SUCK compared to newer ones.
I used to play on a FX5600, 800 * 600, all low settings.
any 7950
No, don't get a 7950, it's a waste of money, since DX10 is only a year away, 7800 should provide you with all-on-high in all future games until DX10.
lol technically i think it would work since my friend runs BF2 on a Radeon Express 200. For those that don't know, that is crap.
"people in ny have a general idea of how to drive. one of the pedals goes forward the other one prevents you from dying"
Because it has Pixel Shader 2.0, and the GeForce 4 series dont.haffeysucks wrote:

Thank u very much guys! You've been a big help. It's nice as a novice to get information from the more expeirenced players. Thanks again!!
