Those jerks. TKers.
Not just any tkers, but those that hunt you down all round.
I have never known anything like it.

I had one earlier, a 2ndLt actually. This twat: http://bf2s.com/player/44537855/
I was the MEC commander on a 20v20 on Harvest and, like any decent commander does, spots out enemy tanks/troops/cars and helis for the team to take out before they go and grab a flag at the back.
I was sat at the back, in the bushes behind the helipads, when I suddenly took damage (I was a medic at the time), so I healed myself before seeing one of my own tanks sat right behind me. So, I got up and moved away behind a set of boxes preventing him from seeing me. So, he moves to one side, whilst I run in the opposite direction. This carried on for about a minute - with me always keeping the box between me and the tank. Then, he had the smart idea for him to fire his main gun and kill me.
Right, ok. So, I have a guy whos deliberatly trying to TK me. Usually, they leave the server after 1 tk.
Not this person.

So, I spawn again - lie down and give my team a UAV before I got blown up again. Punish the sod, and think "wtf?".
So, I spawned somewhere else and climbed up the grain silo to the top and lied down in it. I knew which tank he was in and I followed him on the radar. Sure enough, he moved from the main MEC base down to where I was and found me at the top. So, he moved his tank away some distance so he could get the arc, fired a shot and killed me.
Punished for a tk.
So, I spawned at the next flag and climbed up the huge tower (sorry, I dont know the CP names on the map yet) thinking he'd need a shot and a half to kill me. So he moved his tank on down, found out where I was, moved away, lined up and fired. Missed. Fired again - killed me.
Punished the fucker again
(4 tks and 3 punishes now)
So, I spawned back at the previous CP and got to the top of the grain silo and dropped some medpacks next to me.
A few minutes later, I was dead by the same guy again, tked from his tank.

So, by now, im fuming. Tked 5 times and 4 punishes for the same player. So I say "wtf are you doing, tking me all the time? Have I somehow offended your little tking fuckheaded ass?"
To which I get a reply of "stop spotting enemies, its annoying me"
"Oh, Im sorry, maybe I wont be commander and wont spot any enemies next time? Maybe I wont help my team. No wait, then Id be like you you fucking pathetic retard. Go back to your kiddies games you fat fist fucker"
(well, something alone those lines )

So, I spawned right at the front and hid in a little bunker. His tank rolled towards me, and once again, tked me.
Punished.
Spawned right at the back of the main MEC base, and instantly, to piss this guy off, sat there spotting 1 single AA vehicle about 20 times - and sure enough, his tank was already on the way back to TK me again.
Fortunatly, the round ended before he got there, but I got my 2x bonus for the win and a K/D of 0/6.

During that time, I was the worst commander in history, all because of some tking fucknut who went on a personal vendetta against me.
I did consider giving up the commander position, but whats the point? Thats conceeding defeat to a tker and saying "I give up, you have the fucking position then".
If it had been a Pvt or something, it might be a little more "reasonable" (cos a lot of them are inexperienced) - bit a 2nd Lt whos almost a 1st Lt????
And just because "I was spotting enemies?"

Give me a break.

he is a shitbag, there are lots of them, it is an unfortunate problem we must deal with when playing online games. luckily he is a minority, most people, like myself appreciate a good commander, so thanks for trying so hard to deal with the bullshit and still command.

Pff that guy is an idiot.  I'm thankful that I've never had to experience one of these horrific TKers everyone keeps talking about.

He had 83 TK's in about two days last month!!!  Hell, I can't even get that many enemy kills in a week!  Fortunately I have only been in one TK situation like that (US Carrier on Wake).  When I first started playing, two guys wanted the helicopter bad enough they killed me twice.  When I spawned back on the carrier I wiped them out in short order and got kicked for excessive team killing, go figure.  You should report him to BFROE.

Anyway, congrats on winning the round.

Ok first, you were probably annoying as hell with the spotting.  I have played with commanders who just keep spotting, shut the hell up.   I don't blame him.

Thanks for whoever karma'd me

Yes, they are a minority. Its the first time Ive ever encountered a person like this .
Unfortunatly, I tried to get him kicked, but with no admins on and kicking appeared to be disabled - there was no chance of removing him

The only good thing about it, was that I got a few laughs in the server for my "fat fist fucker" line against him

As for Miller - well, take yourself to a server wheres no commander and no teamwork. For the majority of players who use the radar when a commander is spotting enemies to kill - especially when you are taking a CP, they appreciate it. I know I do, so I return the favour. I hate commanders who dont do it - they are useless retards and are the type that will lose your team 2 important CP's through not spotting.
And how could I have been so annoying within the first 2 minutes of the round before this cunt started a vendetta against me eh?

well then miller you must not know how to command. when the commander is supposably "spamming" then enemy spotted button, he is actually spotting all the enemies he has found on he sat scan. unlike uav only the commander can see the enemies he has spotted on the sat scan so he spots em and relays em out to everyone, and unfortunatly there are assholes like this who think the commander is a noob and goes around acting like an asshat.

i wouldve cartillaried, artillaried and thrown every fuckin thing in between on this bastard

...Miller, you must have never had a good commander.  Commanders are to sit there and spot enemies, give supplies/vehicle drops, Arty so on.  So naturally if I dont have UAV or scan available, and I see someone moving behind enemy lines by themselves to get us a flag, I am gonna right click the general area so he knows on his minimap that the area is clear until I have scan or UAV available.  Proves that you never had a decent commander, and it proves that it drives you nuts to have people help you.

Go look at my stats. Don't play commander 24/7 but I learned from someone who does a lot(http://bf2s.com/player/46217211/), and I find it's easier without a noob commander spamming the whole round.

On a map like Karkand, I agree. Theres no need. Like in the Alley. End of story.
But on an open map, where FAV's can bomb it around the map and get to the back and cap flags like theres no tomorrow, its warranted. When you lose your main base because your commander doesnt spot enemies - then you lose.
I dont play to lose, I play to win. So I will continue to spot until theres no tomorrow for those decent players to take advantage of and take out the enemy. Its called teamwork.

Dude, that's how commanders help the team.  I do that when I play commander too.

Unfortunately, I was inadvertantly one of these types of jerks you mention ... I TK'd a guy in an APC 4 times ... he had the red tag bug, and in the confusion of a pretty heated battle I was taking him out.  My screen wasn't displaying TKs, but my score was.

After the third TK, I realize that the guy I had just killed had on my team's uniform (he had the red tag, and he was listed on the other team).  I decided that I needed to be less agressive.  Almost immediately I see a guy out of the corner of my eye heading for the TOW.  The tow is turning slowly toward me with a red label on the top ... instinctively I take the guy out ... wouldn't you know it, it was the same guy I had TK'd earlier.

(Sorry, dude).

Anyway, the guy may have been seeing you with a red tag ... there may not have necessarily been anything malicious about it.

were you dropped on your head as a child repeatedly? this guy is a karkand whore and as someone stated in a earlier post that karkand commander whores dont spam the enemy spotted key because they are to guys ground pounding and using the UAV, the more open the maps are there is more need for a commander who spots enemys quickly and efficiently

Either that or artying a whole squad and not even apoligizing.  And I am not talking about running into the arty zone, I am talking about defending a capture point and then seeing the arty called exactly on top of us.  My m8's and i will then pull out 1 TK apiece on our commander maybe even more if the idiot doesn't get a clue.

I have to say that spotting enemies all round is annoying.  However, it helps the team so I deal with it.  If the kid didn't like it he should have turned down his speakers.  When I commander I do spot enemies, but as someone said earlier, you spot necessary locations not spam a lone dude in the middle of nowhere.

I wonder what he does when he plays commander? Does he call out enemy stuff, or just let them be unnoticed because it annoys him?

Ive got a different side to a similar story, playing MEC - Mash city - Im back at the heli pad - I get killed by a falling humvie, Im on the 50 cal gun - falling huvies of death - Im in a vehicle - yep you guessed it humvies from the sky - Im on a rooftop - you know the story

this was the second game running where I had been killed by cartillary

I got angry

I changed teams

I went and knifed that DH commander

Look I find cartillary as funny as the next guy and used to delay a tank or something - OK

but when vehicles are continuously dropping

and you die more that a few times from it - is LAME - and using an exploit to win - is LAME - and if your so weak a commander you need to use it - the should you really be commanding - and if Im on the server and I see heaps of cars falling from the sky onto rooftops and stationary guns - then expect a knife to the throat

I can sympathize with the both of you . FB2 has the worst voice over recordings in history hands down . All it dose is annoy the hell out of me and add confusion to the chaos of the battlefield . The commanders voice IS KIND OF LIKE WRITING WITH CAPS LOCK ON . IT BURNS THE EYES AND IT LOOKS AS IF YOU ARE YELLING AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS !!!  Worst of all it is constant . Meaning you can do it non-stop for the entire round . What most people do , or NoObs , is call in every single target they see . I my self have given multiple , i mean a shit load of " YO MAN , STOP CALLING IN EVEY UNIT PLEASE ! WE CAN SEE THEM ENOUGH IS ENOUGH OK ???? " I understand that sometimes the commander is so busy he doesn't even realize . So after 5 minutes of that crap I TK his ass , only to get his attention . Then politely ask him to stop spotting so much , it just isn't even worth it  . Some times they do what I ask and sometimes they go right back to calling in shit faster and more often then they did before . Then I go on TK rage till I get booted .
