That's why most servers are running the latest versions..
But there is ranked in all versions, listed or not listed.

Actually, its in the ROE. But nobody listens to that anyway.Choumichel wrote:

Patches are only a free service from the developers to fix bugs and glitches, there is no rule that says: Patch up or we will shut you down !

Yes those are untouched quality moments.MorbidFetus wrote:
For some reason I get sooo many tks on 1.03 Wake it's really not worth it. Plus none of the people I play with on 1.3 want to de-patch so there goes my dreams of reliving the ol' Blackhawk days (since it seems like no one can fly and/or gun in those servers).
The only upside is that missiles in general are fucking pathetic so no worries if you're in the SU-34 on Oman or raping the carrier on Wake. Honestly, I'd be in the bomber, get locked on, dump flares maybe half the time, the other times do some weak ass maneuvering or just fly straight, and go on about my business.
I ve looked in ROE and there is nothing i can see about loseing rank server status if you patch up .Talon wrote:

Correct because a server version doesn't give you an unfair advantage above other players.Knight`UK wrote:

that would be a great idea and the server would always be full. at least the 6 that exist on 1.03 are always full. And about not having the second unlocks ... who cares. you can often get a lot of kills just with pistolkilroy0097 wrote:
Ok then here is an interesting question.
IF, and this is a big IF, the BF2S.com USA BF2 server was made 1.03 again... would people revert back to that version of the game simply to play on a Ranked 1.03 server and whore it up again? I mean honestly it would be sweet to get 40 easy kills for all my kits to get expert.
Although keep in mind that it's Pre-EF/AF which means that only the 2nd rank of unlocks exist and you will have to learn what works and doesn't work all over again. I've forgotten all the tweaks back in the 1.03 days.
Damn have I been really playing this game for over a year now??? Geez I feel battle worn.
Yes it dose. I could easily score 160-200 points a game black hawk whoring in 1.0.Choumichel wrote:

You could easily score 160-200 points a game, armor whoring on karkand as engineer or better yet be a medic and keep everybody alive to avoid tickets runnning low and cap flags with your buddies BUT you, me and the rest that are playing this game are not allowed to make points because every point made will cost EA a dollar..Cold Fussion wrote:
