Just foolin' around our server waiting for '2 more people to join' and happen to be anti-tank. Jumping into the MI-28 and doing silly flying maneuvers (rolls loops etc). Running past the transport copter I tossed an anti-tank round its way. the flight path, as it happens, was headed for the engine section below the rotors. Gentlemen, it went straight through the engine and exploded in the canyon wall halfway to the dam.

Intrigued, I fired another anti-tank round and the same thing happened. I was firing from the 5 o'clock position of the transport if that helps.

I have seen so many missiles, air or ground launched, (apparently 'locked-on') fly through helicopters. The damn things are holograms!

There must be a coding error for the multiplayer version of the helicopters because the single player version of the helicopters I have absolutely no problem hitting.

This is something I experience regularly with TV missiles. They coast right through an enemy chopper. Sucks, because I'm horrible with TV missiles and on the odd time I actually do guide one correctly, it's a real rip off to have the thing travel through the intended target. Oddly, it does this versus ground targets on occasion too, like APCs.

Ain't it pretty well known? I mean, I noticed that "bug" like the first time I shot a missile at the MEC/PLA chopper. It always goes right thru, unless its close enough to hit another part of the chopper, by mistake. Seriously, the AA missiles suck alot now.
