OK, I've definately gone over the limit of 500 tacticals to get the expert. However, that's not my point. The point is that you need 500 in SF. Throwing smoke/flash in vanilla doesnt seem to count. So the 500 deployments, should read "500 deployed in SF theater", not just 500 deployed. And if there was any way to destinguish between if a deployment was made in vanilla or SF, then it would be nice if only the deployments that ounted were included in the stats for number of deployments.

umm i never throw flashes in SF..

i only use them in BF2.. and they count.. trust me..

Have you tried joining an SF server to get the badge?

Deploying them in BF2 does count, however in order to get the badge after you've deployed your required amount you need to play on a SF map!

But I went to 500+ on SF, and didn't get the badge... I'm quite aware that i cannot get it in vanilla as it IS an SF badge. I'm just saying, it seems to me that seeing as the requirements are dead on for zip and grapler (which ARE NOT available in vanilla) that the only possible reason could be that the number of uses I have in BF2 are not counted towards the badge... I'll probably have to "pad" for it eventually. Just enter a map and throw gas like it's WW1 again.
I'm just noticing this "problem" because the actual number of uses I have in BF2 is quite large. But feel free to proove me wrong. Start an account, throw 50 smokes/flashes/whatever in vanilla, and then go SF and throw one. If you're right , then you should get your badge.. if not, then I take it that I'm correct.

Ok try a different server throw 1 in a sf server and you should receive it.
