Ok, this is not a comparison thread, for they are many. I just want to know what people think of the SCAR generally, is it accurate? Lots of Recoil? etc etc...

awesome gun...i took out a squad with it once at mid range....i also took out a sniper at long range with the single shot
it's ok but i like the G36C better

The M4 is my personal preference.
SCAR-L has better damage (5 more per hit) but the accuracy is a bit too low compared to the G36C.
G36C is like a mini sniper rifle, you can take single shots at a target, no matter the range. So it kills good at long range, but the dmg is maybe too low for short range spraying (i usually end up losing the duel)
So, go for SCAR-L when you expect close combat situations, G36C for big maps

The SCAR-L is not too good. It's deadly in the right hands just like any other weapon.
it CAN be good, with to much thinking, g36 is spray, wait, it CANT spray, its to damn accurate.
but its not comparing, the gun is good, if you use it good, just like EVERY weapon ingame, even the *(gets scared and runs off not telling what gun it is)* is nicer....

G36C is far better, The scar has way too much recoil
It's gotta be one of my favorite weapons. Burst on Auto and use single shot mode frequently. Plus the sound.... quiet... lethal. I haven't touched the G36C after the day I unlocked it.

I picked it as an unlock 'cause people'd been killing me with it for a while, and I've regretted it since.
Some people like it, but it takes a lot of getting used to. I find that it's nowhere near accurate enough, and it suffers dreadfully from recoil. It's a fair shot in single-shot mode, but it's only a carbine, and 27 damage isn't really enough for a single-shot weapon, unless you're lucky.
Also, it looks ugly and sounds like crap. I know these shouldn't be factors in deciding whether a weapon's good or not, but it matters. Guns that sound and look good are more fun to use, and if you enjoy them more you'll use them more, and the more practice you have the better it'll be for you. (This is one of the reasons I like the MP7, it looks kinda cool, and when you let rip at 900rpm at someone who's just walked out in front of you, it sounds brilliant. Then the sucker dies. w00t!)

It's good,when your on get this,AN INFANTRY ONLY SERVER!When you use spec ops to get on buildings by C4ing i use the scar l,It's a good gun,just like every other apart from the china Anti tank gun.

Not as good all around as the G36C is.
But it really accells in CQC fights, not always but most of the time you can run and gun with it very effectively.

And no, the SCAR-L isn't good. The G36C is superior.
I dont like it, mainly because it sounds bad. I prefer the G36C and as Fld_Mrsl_Arts the SCAR-L has a lot of recoil.
