the aa is good enough if not to good

Yea, but those Helis needs to learn a lesson...
better yet: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M-1097_Avenger
The system consists of a gyro-stabilized air defense turret mounted on a modified heavy High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV). The turret has two Stinger missile launcher pods, each capable of firing up to 4 fire-and-forget infrared/ultraviolet guided missiles in rapid succession. Avenger can be linked to the Forward Area Air Defense Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence (FAAD C3I) system, which permits external radar tracks and messages to be passed to the fire unit to alert and cue the gunner. Using the newly developed Slew-to-Cue subsystem, the commander or gunner can select a FAAD C3I reported target for engagement from a display on their HTU, then, by a single push-button, initiate an automatic cab movement to azimuth. The slew-to-cue system is not wide-spread, however. The M1097, M1097A1, M1097A2 use a troop seat kit for troop transport operations, a 200 ampere umbilical power cable to power shelter equipment, and stowage racks for ammunition and equipment. To accommodate the higher payload capacity, the vehicles are equipped with a re-inforced frame, crossmembers, lifting shackles, heavy duty rear springs, shock absorbers, reinforced control arms, heavy duty tires and rims, and a transfer case and differential with modified gear ratio.
The M1097, M1097A1, and M1097A2 and M1123 are specifically designed to accommodate a higher payload capacity. The M1097A2 models have new bumpers, which make the vehicles slightly longer. A 9,000 lb winch is also available for the M1097A2 models as an option.
Weapons
8 ready-to-fire FIM-92 Stinger missiles
1 M3P Machine gun, which is a modified M2. It is a .50 cal with an electronic trigger that can be fired from both the RCU located in the drivers cab, and from the handstation located in the Avenger cockpit. Loads 1 box of 200-250 rounds at a time.
A possible future variant allows for a 600 round ammunition can, only one stinger missile pod (4 missiles), and 2 FGM-148 Javelin missiles. This variant is largely hoped for by the soldiers, but due to the sweeping changes in Air Defense Technology, it is somewhat unlikely this variant will make it into large scale production.

I agree, we should get stingers. The only people that are saying AA is too strong are people that have 100+ hours in the air. I'm surprised you guys haven't gotten good enough to avoid the AA.
die

Add this and remove every other kind of AA then, since on 64, 64 AA stingers will spawn..O_o
Yeah, Ground-to-air is pretty easy to avoid, all you have to do is do your flares and do a sharp turn and you're done... Air-to-Air is far more of a problem for jets/heli's if you ask me, as they are fast, can chase you and are hard to hit.FrankieSpankie3388 wrote:

Don't think that many will spawn.. as you won't get imense amount of points as medic gives you, only people who totaly hate air or whom are good teamworkers use the kit.RDMC(2) wrote:

wow are you kidding me all you do is tank whore in karkand so how would you know anything about aa jets and helos?FrankieSpankie3388 wrote:

Wow, I actually hardly use tanks on Karkand. Way to assume by looking at somebodys stats. I actually mainly use tanks on the larger more open maps, and especially on Operation Harvest. I love going on foot and Karkand is the only map that I feel is perfect for infantry. Maybe sometime you should join the server I'm on in Karkand, the only tank I drive in that map is when I steal the enemy's so don't act like the shit. Besides, in my ~10 hours in the air, I can even avoid those AA on the ground, it's really not that hard....
I'd rather have an M167 VADS emplacement, a ZPU-4 emplacement, and a Type 56 AA emplacement.
Any high muzzle velocity bullet spitting AA really... Stingers and IGLAs are a joke against any pilot worth their weight, and a pilot can easily take out the phalanax/sea sparrow Essex combo without batting an eyelash.
A high muzzle velocity emplacement would be infinitely more useful than the missile emplacements that require very little to dodge. (Not only that, but they still track friendlie targets...) I needn't even mention how incredibly effective plane flares are...
Any transport vehicle with free rotating MG can take down Helo's very quickly as it is (Better than the Tunguska I've found out... Way to go Dice/EA.).
