WTF? Language filter set to Barney level?

how about you dont swear then? Is it really necessary to do so in-game?

on a similar note, my favorite thing in the world is when im on a server with a language filter and i kill somebody and seconds later see a server message warning that person for language..... my favorite thing in the world.

Saying "crap" is not a swear word... in fact it exists to replace swearing...

UPDATE: I just got kicked from another TV2 server for saying "ass". I didn't call anyone that.. I said "Get this MiG off of my ass!"

You have to understand that we put the language level high to ensure no offense is taken, due to the fact that some other nationalites take what may be a low level insult in one country very seriously, on the other hand if you have no self control and are unable to restrain yourself from insulting another person i suggest you take those 15 seconds as cool down time. Personally i do think that our word filters are a bit harsh, i have asked to have the penalties reduced but there have been no motions to change it so far.

Im glad that you "know for a fact" that crap is not a swear word. Maybe you should ask around a little more. I would love to be educated on the history of the word crap and how it is not a swear word.

I personally dont care what anyone says in-game, i dont listen either way. but some people have the filters and rules on swearing for a reason.
