I think I'm good chopper pilot, but I don't think I'm ace yet. Like, I'm thinking of joining some clan and I would like to have some ability where I'm good at, and I enjoy flying with chopper much.

we got enough pilots in our clan, but find a buddy and practice with him or practice soloing, people hate that lol.
start up bf2 go to multiplay click on great local server make a server with wake or dalian (any map with chopper) practise on tanks/cars/anti air, thats how i did it

Yes please practice on an empty server. Nothing worse than a time where u really need a good pilot and get some newb who just figured out the helo does backflips

I'm not total chopper noob, I can take out cars, tanks, APC, helicopter and stuff and use TV missile but what is described as ace pilot?

Someone who can fly with a gunner well, give him well-lined up shots and dodge J-10s, dodge enemy tv's while giving your gunner a shot, being able to find and follow a car throught the trees on Daqing, and being able to deal with mobile AA well.Hacial wrote:

IMO the most challenging things as a pilot is US on Dalian dealing with two J-10s and minimal air support form the iron coffins, flying a good round on Sharqi, either side, and flying on Wake.

Fly chopper on dalian is easy. Ive found the best way to avoid J-10s is just to barrel roll. I agree that if you can fly low and through trees after vechicles you are very good, i can do it sometimes but often i get tangled up with the trees. Also ppl that can solo TV well are what i call very good, i cant do it for shit tbh.Flaming_Maniac wrote:

Speaking from experience (6,600 driver points to <1,000), it can be. Usually not, but with two skilled J-10 pilots, two choppers, tanks everywhere and people getting in AA, all usually around 1-2 flags, that map can get hectic fast.Vilham wrote:
