BF2S Forums Last ditch squad?

Anyone care to validate this as true? Or was I just speaking out of my ass...

I've never had any success with this... I know it works if your a member of the squad before you die.

I.e. no flags left squad leader still alive you can continue to spawn on him (not sure if one needs to be white but I know you don't need one to do it). I'm postive it doesn't work if you leave and join the squad with an alive squad leader, perhaps if he invites you it might be different not sure on that one.

Brings us back to the blackhawk days, basically watched our team win after about 2 minutes of no flags in a spawn screen. The guys sat in the chopper didn't cap any flags bail out etc, just hovered high and repaired. I think they took out something like 30 tickets to win us the game. 10 nothing it was close...

yeah. as far as I know, you can only spawn at your SL if your team has at least one flag.

That's what I'm getting at though, once you are the last man left with no flags left, you create a squad and invite people to join it. You have to actually create the squad and manually invite people though, just being a squad leader and letting people join won't work.

I'm really hoping that someone can verify this, I'm gonna try and prove it when I play tonight but we'll see. If you can, give it a try and post here with your results.
